Teenage Parent High School

At Teenage Parent High School (TAP), we understand the unique challenges and responsibilities that teenage parents face, and we provide comprehensive support and resources to ensure both academic success and personal growth.

We offer tailored academic programs that accommodate individual schedules and needs, along with access to counseling services and parenting workshops. These resources are designed to help teenage parents balance their educational aspirations with the responsibilities of parenthood, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere for both parent and child.

We are a small school that offers a safe, supportive, nurturing learning environment for pregnant and parenting teens. Our focus is on supporting our students in both credit recovery and traditional coursework needed for high school graduation, career and college preparation; as well as providing a strong foundation in positive, healthy parenting skills.

Mission- Promoting academic achievement and college readiness through flexible schedules, small class sizes, tutoring, credit recovery, credit acceleration and student goal setting and attainment

Providing a nurturing community through support groups, mentoring, local social services and agencies, school activities, family involvement and strong studentstaff rapport;

Developing responsible parenting through prenatal instruction, Early Childhood Education (ECE), parenting classes, hands-on guided nursery experience, nutrition and health support.

We have been recognized by the Arizona Department of Education as a 'B' school, and we are also a Ben's Bells Kind Campus.
